ocr: Kattlesnake Rattlesnakes live in the desert of the southwestern USA and Mexico, although they have relatives that live in tropical regions. These snakes are venomous, killing their prey with a poison that attacts the blood system of - the victim. There are a number of different species of rattlesnake. Besides the striped rattler shown here, rattlesnakes include the sidewinder, well known for the peculiar way it undulates across the desert sands.
